Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our Community Nursing Team as a Nursing Associate working as an integral part of a Community Nursing service within the Newbury locality. you are interested in:

  • Gaining experience in holistic delivery of care for patients in their own homes., Undertake a full range of agreed clinical skills including venepuncture, routine ECG recording and measure and interpret blood glucose levels
  • Registered Nursing associates are allowed to administer intramuscular injections following appropriate organisational training and achievement of Trust competencies
  • Accurately use contemporary nutritional assessment tools and record fluid intake to identify signs of dehydration or fluid retention and escalate as necessary
  • Assist in the delivery of complex care as prescribed by the registered Nurse. Develop understanding of caring for individuals with particular conditions for example dementia, mental illness, learning disabilities.
