Nursing Associate, Community Nursing West Berks

An opportunity has arisen to join our Community Nursing Team as a Nursing Associate working as an integral part of a Community Nursing service within the Newbury locality.

then this would be the perfect opportunity, + Undertake a full range of agreed clinical skills including venepuncture, routine ECG recording and measure and interpret blood glucose levels
+ Registered Nursing associates are allowed to administer intramuscular injections following appropriate organisational training and achievement of Trust competencies
+ Accurately use contemporary nutritional assessment tools and record fluid intake to identify signs of dehydration or fluid retention and escalate as necessary
+ Assist in the delivery of complex care as prescribed by the registered Nurse. Develop understanding of caring for individuals with particular conditions for example dementia, mental illness, learning disabilities., The 3/4 "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:
+ Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
+ Demonstrate sound knowledge of care and treatment in order to undertake non-complex nursing assessment/reassessment in various settings under the direction/ supervision of senior staff.
+ Exercise personal responsibility and work independently within defined parameters of practice, taking the initiative in a variety of situations and performing a range of clinical and care skills consistent with the role, responsibilities and professional values of a Nursing Associate.
