Full Job Description

  • Provide compassionate, safe and effective care and support to people in a range of care settings.
  • Contribute to ongoing assessment of patients, recognising when it is necessary to refer and escalate to a Registered Nurse for reassessment
  • Monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership with people, families and carers
  • Record all care delivered appropriately an contemporaneously. Documentation must be clear, concise and legible. Any documentation must also be signed anddated.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating or handing overresponsibility for care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients when delivering cares, providing advice where appropriate.

    To be suitable for this post you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own, but also as an integral part of the DSU team.

    Wycombe Day Surgery and the Surgical Admissions Unit (SAU) are looking for a dynamic Registered Band 4 Nursing Associates to join our friendly team.
