Full Job Description

You will embrace the challenge of working in a highly diverse environment, committed to becoming the safest organisation in the NHS. You will be registered with the NMC and have experience of working in an acute hospital environment. As a nursing associate on L7 you will be need to be flexible and able to adapt to meet the needs of the department day to day. This includes assisting with basic nursing care through to caring for your own caseload of patients., An exciting opportunity has arisen for Qualified Nursing Associates to work on Ward L7 at Salford Royal.
The post holders will support clinical practice within the day surgery department:
+ Keeping the people who are using our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments.
+ Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures.
+ Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with people throughout the care planning process
+ Supporting learning in both formal and informal settings in order to support the on-going development of staff in clinical practice.
