Nursing - Staff Nurse - Elective Orthopaedic

Responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care, working in partnership with patients, their carers and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the patient's physical, spiritual and emotional needs are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who wants to develop their skills and experience working in what is often a fast paced environment.

To be successful you will be a keen, hardworking and enthusiastic nurse who is committed to providing a high standard of clinical care.

You will need to have excellent communication skills with patients, relatives and members of the ward team. You will also need to demonstrate a passion for working within surgery, developing skills in assessing patients, recognising patient deteriorations and understanding how to address surgical complications. You will be working alongside an existing team who will support you in developing the necessary surgical and orthopaedic skills.
