Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dermatology Team at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust for an NVQ fixed term placement. The successful candidate will be based at Rowan House. The post is 37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday., To provide an administrative service to the Dermatology Medical Secretaries and Reception team. The post holder will: Provide and deliver a high standard of administrative service to the Dermatology Team and the wider hospital using a varied range of administrative work procedures.

We are looking for a full-time NVQ Apprentice to join our busy Dermatology Team providing administrative support to the Dermatology Administration Team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain varied administration experience in a demanding yet stimulating and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, well organised, take pride and ownership in your contribution, have excellent attention to detail. The post is interesting and varied and requires an ability to work as a member of a team as well as using your own initiative. Applicants should have a mature and responsible attitude and be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Above all, applicants should take a flexible approach to their workload.

  • Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
