Full Job Description

We're looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our Primary Care team in Woking. The role will be based at the Headquarters of a British luxury automotive manufacturer.

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll provide a cost effective and high quality occupational health service to the client in line with their requirements which will include health surveillance, fit for work medicals and case management

What you'll do:

  • Provide OH medical, surveillance and screening services to the client

  • Liaise with other members of the OH team such as Physicians on a regular basis to ensure consistent procedural and clinical standards and requirements are met

  • Carry out return to work interviews for sickness absence, both face to face and via telemedicine, including return to work rehabilitation programmes and support

  • Carry out Work Station and Work Place Assessments as required by the client, producing reports and recommendations in line with HCA UK procedures

  • Get involved in Health and Wellbeing promotion campaigns and health-events where requested by the client

  • Offer telephone Support to Line Managers regarding Occupational Health issues within their teams or with individuals within remit

  • Act as the advice and escalation point for OH queries, triage of referrals to appropriate clinician

  • Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health Nursing to support and develop the service

  • Maintain accurate and precise medical records in line with Professional and legislative requirements and accurate data collection

  • A Diploma or Degree Qualification in Occupational Health

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and experience

  • Ability to operate and communicate at a senior level with customers, managers, human resources and health and safety.
