Full Job Description

Including but not limited to:

  • Initial assessments

  • personal care assessments

  • meal preparation assessments

  • upper limb rehabilitation

  • vocational rehabilitation

  • assessing home environment

  • equipment prescribing

  • SOAP notes

  • report writing

  • goal setting

  • completion of outcome measures

  • MDT working

  • supervision of therapy assistant

  • opportunity to oversee students

  • discharge planning

  • liaison with external health and social care professionals

    We are currently seeking a senior/specialist Occupational Therapist with experience in neurology and brain injury., At least 12 months experience working within neurology and must have experience with brain injury.

  • be able to work well within a MDT

  • good communication skills

  • be dynamic and able to work under pressure

  • good time management

  • good communication skills

  • passion for improving patient experience and enhancing their lives

  • manage an OT caseload

  • oversee therapy assistant

  • sound documentation skills
