Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, you have the opportunity to change lives for the better. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team at Badby Park in Daventry, supporting people with neurological conditions in their rehabilitation, condition management, and maximizing their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with residents and carers to set realistic goals, develop intervention plans, and ensure high-quality individualized care is delivered., The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for completing neurological assessments, treatment planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve function and independence with activities of daily living. They will also be involved in cognitive assessment and rehabilitation, using therapeutic handling skills, and assessing environmental and equipment needs, including specialist seating. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate complex discharge planning and evaluate outcomes aligned with care plans. They may also be required to supervise Occupational Therapy support staff and students, and implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities.
