As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist in our community mental health team MINT, you will assess, plan, and deliver interventions that promote mental health recovery and support individuals in leading meaningful and independent lives. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified OTs or those seeking to develop their clinical skills in a community-based setting as outlined in the community Mental Health Framework for Adults and Older Adults (2019)., We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive Occupational Therapists who are passionate about mental health. Whether you are newly qualified or have some experience, we value individuals who are motivated to grow and develop their skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing clients' functional abilities and identifying needs related to mental health, daily living, and social participation

Developing individualized care and intervention plans to enhance clients' independence and quality of life

Collaborating with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, person-centered care

Supporting clients in developing coping strategies, managing daily routines, and accessing community resources

Facilitating group and individual therapy sessions focused on occupational engagement
