The successful candidate may be eligible to up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due of relocating to Ceredigion.   • competently and effieciently Manage an adult community caseload
  • as required provide clinical support, guidance, and formal supervision to OTAs and support staff
  • continue to learn and develop specialist professional skills utilising support and opportunties offered by senior OTs
  • assist senior OTs to screen and prioritise new referrals as required
  • assist senior OTs with service development
  • contribute to the teams always improving appraoch to assessment and provision of services
  • embrace recent exciting service and organsiational developments in areas such as
  • + evolving clinical practice + technology enabled care + evidence based manual handling (releasing time to care) + Penmorfa Centre for Independent Living (PenCIL a community resource)
  • The community OT role is varied, our goal is to empower people to maximise their own independence while using resources fairly and responsibly, in line with our professional and legislative responsibilities.     Following a recent review of the Occupational Therapy services within Ceredigion County Council, a new service structure has been developed. Both community adult and Paediatric services now work under the same management structure within Ceredigion's through age well-being model. While the OT roles being advertised sit primarily within the adult service, as the service matures, the team will become more integrated and exciting opportunities to gain paediatric community experience will exist.
