We are recruiting for a full-time position for an experienced Occupational Therapists or Advanced Occupational Therapists to join our teams in Adult Social Care. Reablement service. You will:

  • Receive referrals and enable decisions with service users regards their planned Reablement service.
  • Carry a caseload as allocated, with support of regular professional clinical supervision.
  • Work closely with Team Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Reablement Workers and other therapists.
  • Provide OT assessment, and intervention, to adults with physical and cognitive difficulties, many of whom have complex physical and /or psychosocial needs.
  • Prescribe equipment and adaptions in accordance with relevant legislation, to enable people to remain in their home setting, in line with the Bristol City Council department policies.
  • You will have a full induction, supervision from experienced and supportive colleagues, plus opportunities for training and continuous professional development activities. We endeavour to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to develop highly skilled, evidence-based practice, utilising the 4 pillars of the RCOT career development framework. We provide regular OT specific learning and development activities and also provide practice educators with an additional payment for supporting student placements.
