Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our well established and integrated adult community rehabilitation service.
Looking to take the next step in your career? Are you an experienced band 5 looking to progress in your career or a band 6 passionate passionate working across various health conditions?
Our community rehab team assesses housebound adults within their home environment. By assessing people within their home environment, we are in a good position to significantly improve people's quality of life and promote independence at home by providing therapy as well as by jointly working with social services, physiotherapists and the other members of our integrated team, making this a very rewarding job.
Main duties of the job
Undertake complex, holistic person-centred assessments, treatment, support planning and reviews of people with a range of health conditions in the community.
To carry a caseload and ability of complete detailed assessment and treatment of patiens within the borough of Redbridge.
To work as part of MDT demonstratikg excellent rehabilitation of patients with complex physical and cognitive needs.
Experience on equipment ordering, moving and handling risk assessment.
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735) pro rata for part time staff.
