Full Job Description

Base: Cygnet Kenney House - Wester Hill Rd, Oldham, OL8 2QH Cygnet Kenney House is our new hospital for women, located in Oldham. Providing a safe and secure care pathway for women with mental health needs, the service will be opening soon. Are you a newly qualified or current Band 5 occupational therapist? Do you have a passion for delivering outstanding care and making a positive difference to the lives of the people in your care? This could be your perfect opportunity., At Cygnet Healthcare, we have a strong occupational focus through support and direction from Clinical Leads and our Occupational Therapy Directors. We use evidence-based practice within each of our service lines, as defined by our clinical steering groups, of which Occupational Therapists play a key role. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction under the supervision of a more senior Occupational Therapist. An integral part of this role will be supervising others, with a focus on supporting student education within the team. This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework.
