Full Job Description

Are you a talented and patient focused Occupational Therapist? Are you looking for a new challenge, or are you a newly qualified Occupational Therapist looking to start your career in a supportive environment?, This is a qualified post and provides an opportunity for the Therapist to consolidate core skills and competencies.

The key function of this role is mainly clinical and concentrates on the assessment of patients referred to the service.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner and will have the support of a senior therapist, and be part of the planning and implementation of therapy intervention in partnership with patients under their care.

These posts are rotational to ensure a rounded learning opportunity.

We can offer 5-month rotations across a wide range of acute services including medicine, emergency admissions, acute stroke rehabilitation, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory and surgery. You should have some experience of working in an acute setting as a qualified Occupational Therapist or as a student.

The successful candidate must be prepared to work across a 7-day service, which involves working weekends, bank holidays and extended hours as per service needs.

Applicants must be a qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration or in your final year of study.
