Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the therapy team in the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital, which covers the South West region of the United Kingdom. This is an opportunity to develop specialist skills and close MDT working in a non-rotational post.

You will work with patients with all levels of Spinal Cord Injuries patients, on a 1:1 basis and in group settings, to provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation that meets patients' individual needs.

You will manage a caseload of patients undergoing inpatient rehabilitation and help to plan their discharges. Some previous Band 5 OT experience, especially in rehabilitation settings or with neurological conditions would be an advantage, but training (particularly Spinal-specific) and support will be provided and tailored to your needs.
