Occupational Therapy Assistant

This is an opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for Elysium Healthcare, a company that supports, values and recognises the dedication of its employees in delivering great healthcare. You will be responsible for contributing to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities, as well as supporting the delivery of individual and group therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Additionally, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of a social enterprise caf, providing training, support, and supervision for service users to ensure skill development and satisfaction in their roles., As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work collaboratively with patients/service users to identify and work towards their recovery-focused goals. You will maintain adequate records and enter details in the service user healthcare records. To be successful in this role, you will need GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2, experience in a similar environment and mental health, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. You will also be skilled in a range of activities such as art, music, horticulture, and animal care.
