Full Job Description

To assist with patient care and other departmental relatedduties as a Theatre Support Worker and as directed byRegistered Theatre Practitioners.

To complete a Care Certificate programme prior to applyingto the university.

Upon entry on the ODP Apprenticeship, to train and studyto complete the BSc (Hons) ODP programme approved bythe HCPC and accredited by the College of OperatingDepartment Practitioners.

Candidates who do not enroll onto the University ODPApprenticeship programme, will remain employed at CUHas Band 3 Theatre Support Workers, and can receives support to prepare for a future interview., Operating Department Practitioners (ODP's) are registered health care professionals who have an integral role in the provision of safe, holistic perioperative care.
