Full Job Description
We are a Construction and Building Maintenance Contractor based in North London. Our office currently requires an Administrator with some project officer duties. The applicant must be IT literate and experienced in Microsoft office.,
- Managing and reviewing filing and office systems.
- Management of all repair jobs, data entry, job allocation, customer and client liaison work
- Liaise with the Surveyors, internal staff, customers and suppliers/contractors.
- Customer satisfaction surveys and complaint handling
- Preparation of job costing (and invoicing) using the National Schedule of rates. (training will Be given).
- Preparation of documents, presentations and drafting/writing
- Renewing Trademarks, keeping records of congestion and parking fines, MOT, Road Tax etc.
- Dealing with correspondence and drafting/writing letters on behalf of the MD
- Diary and email management for MD - including scheduling of appointments, meetings, etc.
- Organising meetings - compiling agenda points and ensuring adequate refreshments available.
- Resource, stock/material/stationery ordering and promotional items when required.
- Logging and managing tender enquiries and notifications
- Reaching out to potential new clients.
- General office duties, photocopying/scanning, filing, email/other communication mentoring
- Perform other roles as may be necessary to keep the office functioning well.
The applicant must have excellent communication skills with a courteous and confident telephone manner. You will be part of a small friendly team, an ability to prioritise and manage your own work load is essential. Previous office experience is preferred.
