Full Job Description
We are delighted to be partnered with our professional, reputable and very friendly client as they seek to recruit an Office Administrator (on an initial contract of 6 months commencing early 2025), to join their team within their offices on the outskirts of Haywards Heath. This role is available due to maternity leave coverage and may extend or could be made into a permanent role., Role based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath. Due to unique office workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport. Plenty of free parking on site for all staff.
Salary £24000-£25000 per annum (pro rata) plus very good all round company benefits. There is also an additional payment of £1125 which you would be eligible to earn for working on the following key dates for the organisation (26 and 27 April) and (6/7/8 June) - holiday cannot be taken during these key dates.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team within a very friendly and welcoming office.
Duties will include:
Supporting the Administration Manager and the Events Manager with planning, scheduling and diary management
Preparing correspondence for meetings and taking minutes
Organising the day to day running of the office, reception duties, dealing with enquiries by phone and email
Invoicing and chasing payments / deposits
Working with committees member
Assisting clients with event management
Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Attention to detail with strong accuracy and numeracy skills
Pro-active approach and ability to work to deadlines
A positive "can do" attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of office administration systems including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
