Full Job Description

We are looking for an Office Clerk to provide administrative support and some reception cover for our busy Long Eaton office.

The main duties include filing and archiving confidential documents including sorting and organising confidential files and folders, scanning and photocopying documents, general errands, opening and closing electronic files, managing the post and providing reception cover face to face and over the telephone.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team, a flexible yet organised approach to work and excellent IT, numerical and communication skills are essential. Some administrative and customer care experience would be helpful coupled with a good understanding of confidentiality.

You must be able to lift and carry folders and boxes, as the organisation of hard copy files is a significant part of this role., Ability to lift, move, sort, carry and organise hard copy files and boxes in our office and in the storage space in our loft

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

Excellent IT skills

Flexible yet organised approach to work

Excellent numerical and financial skills and the ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately

Ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy and a good eye for detail

Experience

Administrative experience including filing, scanning and photocopying, dealing with the post, managing emails,

Customer care experience both face to face and over the telephone

Other

Understanding of data protection and confidentiality

Satisfactory references and other pre-employment checks including credit check and identity check, etc

Willingness to undertake further training as required
