Reports To: Task Force Team Lead
With our evolving expansion, Delphi Care Solutions Task Force team are now looking for passionate and diligent health and social care professionals with experience in the children services sub sector, to share leadership and management skills and knowledge with various children's residential, educational placement, respite service providers. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced candidates as OfSTED Consultants who want to grow their career within leadership and change management roles and who will play a key role in providing consultancy services to children social care organisations to ensure adequate compliance with OfSTED regulations and standards for these services, including children's residential, educational placement, respite service providers, etc., providing and improving high-quality care to the children, managing the day-to-day operations of the service; across different locations within the UK. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to assess current
practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored strategies to enhance quality of care and regulatory compliance, implementing changes, within the various children services.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring all necessary documentation, policies, and procedures are in place and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Staying abreast of changes in OfSTED regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure that clients are informed and prepared to meet new requirements.
Managing day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, budgeting, and resident care.
Ensuring that the service is compliant with regulatory requirements and that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Providing leadership and support to service staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
Monitoring the quality of care being provided and making adjustments as needed.
Conducting thorough assessment of service to identify areas of improvement
Developing and implementing turnaround plans for each service (as required)
Collaborating with other management team members to ensure the company goals are met.
Maintaining accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clinical staff, and regulatory bodies, to drive quality and compliance.
Providing expert guidance and support to service providers in preparing for OfSTED inspections, including mock inspections and readiness assessments.
Analysing data, documentation, and feedback to identify areas of non-compliance or improvement opportunities.
Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance on quality and compliance matters related to OfSTED registration.
As an OfSTED Consultant, you will be a highly organised individual, able to provide effective leadership and regulatory compliance in a diligent and professional way within our exciting and fast-paced projects. You must possess the ability to effectively work both on your own and as part of a team and hold good verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work under pressure, be responsible and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements. You must be analytical, possess the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, make decisions in line with what you deem is achievable, and thereafter deliver it.
Role Requirements
NVQ Level 5 - Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care or its equivalent (Essential)
Minimum of 2 years' experience as OFSTED Registered Manager
Minimum of 5 years' experience working within residential childcare
Minimum of 3 years of OfSTED consultancy experience working in healthcare quality management, regulatory compliance, or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of OfSTED regulations, standards, policy implementation and compliance.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and patterns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Proven ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and drive organizational change.
Access to own vehicle with full UK driving licence
