It is a great time to join Derbyshire Healthcare. As the Consultant Psychiatrist (Older Adults), you will lead and develop a new service, working with existing staff on the ward as well as new colleagues. A unique benefit of this role is that it will provide cover to the Crisis and Home Treatment Teams, enhancing the links between the in-patient ward and In-Reach Team.

You will be responsible for a cohort of older adult patients with functional mental health needs who have been admitted or are at risk of admission. This is an opportunity to control in-patient admissions and support flow and discharge.

If you have excellent knowledge of your speciality, excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge and have a MB BS or equivalent medical qualification, we would love to hear from you.
