Samsung's Omni Channel Marketing team is committed to activating the best execution for all MX products (mobile, tablet, wearables, audio, computing and accessories). This role defines and controls what consumers "see", "feel" and "hear" about Samsung MX product & services within our Channel partners.

The team is responsible for leading the channel partner marketing relationships and end to end execution across all owned and paid touchpoints. Over 14 B2C accounts across Operators, MVNO's Retailers, Distributors and Sim Free Pure Player channels encompassing paid ATL, retail high street, below the line retention initiatives and Contact Centre share of business. Our channel partner's success in ranging, promoting and launching our MX portfolio is at the heart of what we do. By ensuring we commercialize our marketing, deliver execution leadership and drive innovation, we continue to defend our stronghold in the UK market.,

  • Interface and own relationships with senior customer counterparts driving broader engagement and advocacy across the Operator and Retailer Channel partners

  • Partner with Sales leadership to hit sales goals in both the short and long term

  • Ability to analyse market research, insights to understand consumer segmentation / behaviour & identify consumer insights to leverage in building growth strategies

  • Evaluate, redefine and redesign processes, implement and / or apply workflow tools to ensure scalability for an area our business expected to triple in growth over the next three years

  • Handle Samsung's customer journey across our channel partner touchpoints to create best in class consumer shopping experiences

  • Develop value propositions for new program packages across owned channels to support the growth of our business partners

  • Taking a customer centric approach, drive collaborative development of propositions within the product management team and how best to implement into the market with measured effectiveness

  • Dives deep into business objectives and needs of partners to assess and develop mutually beneficial programs to secure cross-channel programming

  • Develop a full-year execution strategy calendar for partners; the primary driver for investment and category prioritisation planning.

  • Control, optimize and develop multi-channel marketing investments for your relevant categories across the available budgets that are measurable and aligned to the teams ROAS principles.

  • Drive post launch/campaign results analysis ensuring findings & recommendations are shaping future activities.

  • Work collaboratively with all internal partners to activate "best-in-class" partner execution for all major MX product launches and in lifecycle activation in line with UK strategy and Key Performance Indicators


  • Your key people management responsibilities
  • In conjunction with your peers, act as a real leader, inspiring change and implement new ways of working & thinking across the Omni Channel Team

  • Lead a team of two (2) that will be the day-to-day point of contact for the partners and sales counterparts within the portfolio with end to end responsibility for the smooth running of these partnerships across all aspects including marketing, operational processes, Marketing insights & reporting and any other contractual obligations

  • Embraces invention without precedent while demonstrating validated approaches

  • Identifies & assesses risks quickly, building contingency plans to mitigate or handle them

  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.

  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.

  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT's and relevant business updates.

  • Handle the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.

  • Lead all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.

  • To be accountable for ensuring your team are aligned with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the things we value.

    Marketing background, ideally with a vendor in the same role or marketing role within a retailer/network operator/agency

  • Experience of managing marketing budgets

  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record to motivate change

  • Formal people management experience leading a team

  • Demonstrated experience across the marketing mix - ATL& BTL

  • Written and verbal communication skills, articulating cases to senior audiences

  • 360 marketing experience, with a focus on digital (and clear understanding of digital marketing metrics)

  • Proven track record to manage significant budgets and drive business opportunities delivering return on investment

  • Commercial 'know how' to produce a case to a senior audience, justifying return on investment on marketing spend

  • Multi-tasking with ability to juggle multiple priorities and business demands

  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels

  • Strong negotiating and relationship building skills

  • Initiative and energy to present ideas proactively

  • Great teammate with a can-do demeanour & spirit and non-silo approach to work

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communicator with solid presentation skills
