On Demand Grocery Lead

As a leader and expert you will be responsible for executing the growth plans for On Demand/ Quick Commerce services and platforms.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Lead the delivery of our on demand grocery channel for Waitrose online

Relationship management of 3rd party marketplace partners

Achievement of the required profitability, efficiency and customer experience targets for all platforms

Leadership of continuous improvement plans across all platforms

Develops effective relationships with critical business leaders to support on demand - including extensive collaboration with Retail, Commercial, Technology and Digital Product.

Experience working with or for on demand marketplace providers

Experienced in leading large scale commercial negotiations

Experience in leading a matrix environment

A commercial mind, able to identify opportunities and articulate their financial impact to create powerful business cases

Confident and capable of working with technology teams to drive innovation and improvements to the customer experience and operation.

Strong stakeholder management experience both internally and externally including contract management

We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic Online team as On Demand Grocery Lead, reporting into our Director of Online.

We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. There will also be an expectation to visit other locations/suppliers as the need arises.

Salary - £70,900 - £108,300

️ - Full time working holiday entitlement 25 days holiday, plus public and bank holidays (this is prorated for part time hours)
