Job Description:

Here at DXC we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, on-site Desktop Support Engineer to provide support to a long standing client at Samlesbury.

Please note that this is a site-based engineer role, primarily based on a secure site at Samlesbury, with support to both Samlesbury and Warton sites in Lancashire. The position will also require the candidate to undergo MOD SC clearance and as a result applicants should be British Nationals.

We also offer an excellent benefits package including personal pension plan and various other flexible benefits including private medical cover, life insurance and flexible holiday to name a few.

Due to the nature of our client's work the successful candidate will need to either hold or be able to obtain SC Security Clearance. For this reason we are only able to progress with applications from British nationals.

This role is primarily site based at Samlesbury, but will involve support for supported sites such as Warton and Preston. There is often a need to provide remote support for satellite sites and our tech bar service.

Recruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services, such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company. These emails may request recipients to provide personal information or to make payments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process. DXC does not make offers of employment via social media networks and DXC never asks for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process, nor ask a job seeker to purchase IT or other equipment on our behalf.
