Full Job Description

  • To support the Transactions and Acquisitions Manager with the onboarding of new client relationships for consumer finance and commercial clients.

  • Supports the delivery and transition of new business, working closely with key stakeholders and SMEs to ensure Business Readiness.

  • The role holder will be co-ordinating the delivery of business change to ensure colleagues, clients, policies, processes, workflow and technology requirements deliver against client and customer expectations and strategic objectives.


  • Your Tasks
  • Support the Transactions and Acquisitions Manager with the onboarding of acquired portfolios of debt from pre-sale to live operation.

  • Co-ordinate the release of portfolios into the live environment, while enabling internal and external suppliers to manage SLAs.

  • Carry out post-acquisition validation and checking, ensuring portfolios are managed and sharing information to enable the Partner Management team to carry out effective oversight and performance management of our partner organisations.

  • Control and develop the customer journey to ensure the portfolio segments are appropriately managed by specialist teams, and actions are fed into change management where necessary.

  • Engaging with key stakeholders including Shared Services, IT, CMSD, business change, litigation, sales, the contact centre and Partner Management.

  • Facilitating the successful set up of portfolios and required operational processes in a timely and accurate manner to meet client requirements and help to drive optimal operational performance.

  • Ensure that every aspect of the customer lifecycle is considered, from pre-sale, to insitu and 3rd party relationships, to return to the firm's bench, and onward decision making.

  • Collaborate with the data and reporting data teams to ensure all useful data is captured, mapped and presented to the operation, and enhance portfolio management in order to identify any gaps in process and areas for improvement.

  • Good industry knowledge of the debt sale and purchase customer lifecycle

  • Offer Technical steer and support to developers and change management

  • Process analysis and documentation using recognised standards

  • Good commercial awareness

  • Have a general understanding of key client and internal strategies
