Full Job Description

The Authorisations Team performs a vital function to support the overall objective to grow the business. This is your opportunity to make a significant and immediate impact.

You will be a key team member in the onboarding and vetting journey of new advisers and firms joining Quilter Financial Planning, ensuring they complete our vetting process and adhere to regulatory requirements as a new adviser representing Quilter.
-Authorisations Manager, Our Authorisations Vetting Case Workers form a key part in the overall onboarding experience of new Advisers and Firms, so it is vital that new applicants receive a positive, professional service.

You will be undertaking all aspects of due diligence vetting checks, such as reviewing references, criminal records, financial records and anything held in the public domain.

You will complete the vetting of new applications, using all relevant information to assess if the adviser or firm should proceed to appointment with Quilter or not.

As well as applying to the FCA, for regulatory authorisation, ensuring that robust evidence of due diligence activity is provided.

Authorisations Caseworkers make decisions based on Business Standards, which set out Quilter appetite and associated procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within a Financial Services and Regulatory background. You will naturally have an inquisitive mindset and assess the findings, applying a risk based approach when decision making.

You will have the ability to co-ordinate your day-to-day workload and applications, and can work under pressure remaining focused and calm.

You will also be a team player who looks to support others and take a positive approach as you will be the first point of contact for those joining Quilter Financial Planning and will have frequent contact with various stakeholders.

Having a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word would be beneficial.
