Full Job Description

This role primarily involves preparing online courses for delivery to students and would suit someone interested in working in learning technology. Responsibilities include setting up content in our custom Moodle environment (quiz questions, webpage content, readings) and carrying out quality checks. There is work with video content, including reviewing content and creating transcripts. The role holder will liaise with faculty and students about their courses, as well as supporting other aspects of module delivery such as webinars.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and experience of using virtual learning environments, preferably Moodle. They will have a high literacy level and strong communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with staff and students. They should have excellent IT skills and be confident in using MS Office tools (particularly Word) and video conferencing platforms. A love of learning, experience of working within a Higher Education institution and an understanding of educational technologies will also be beneficial.
