Full Job Description

This part time role is the equivalent of 14 hours PW which will be worked across a rolling 3 weekly rota period therefore the hours worked within a single week will vary. Over the 3 weeks the 42 contracted hours will consist of working shifts over weekends (Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays - AM or PM) and attendance at Practice meetings, team meetings and supervision - pro rata to hours. Team Manager meetings will take place on the last Thursday of every month 2-4 pm. The successful candidate will share the management of a small team of qualified and unqualified staff and will contribute to the management and support of the wider OOH service. We are therefore looking for a Team Manager who;

  • Is able to work evenings, nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Front Door Service, and we are seeking to recruit to our highly motivated, friendly, and supportive Out of Hours Service., Is resilient, flexible, adaptable, forward thinking and positive about improving services outside normal working hours.
  • Is able to work at speed and under pressure, whilst maintaining excellent triage and risk assessment skills.
  • Has excellent and proven leadership skills, communication skills and is competent in and committed to the use of Information Technology.
  • Has experience of or is interested in broadening their knowledge and skill base to incorporate working with adults, including Adult Protection.
  • Is looking for a change from the 9-5 routine and new professional challenges.
  • Is able to cope with shift working., Applicants are required to hold a Degree in Social Work, CQSW/DipSW or equivalent, and must be registered with Social Work England.
  • This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh Sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
