Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operation and Maintenance Engineer within the Quality Team. This role will be based on site in Coleshill. Role Responsibilities;

  • Implementing Technical Assurance & Handover Management Plans with proper dashboards and reports.
  • Attending and presenting project meetings
  • Establish and report against TAHO performance KPIs, alerting management about any potential risk/deviation
  • To work in coordination with all Technical Assurance & Handover team (including Key Date Handover), Delivery (all dpts including Project Directors and Quality), Project Control, Commercial teams, DJV/LDR, HS2 (including third parties interfaces) Facilitating workshops/reviews as necessary
  • Managing the progress of handover packages, ensuring all content is compliance with the contractual requirements and that packages are submitted on time as planned.
  • Supporting the knowledge sharing
  • Engage with the team to make technical assurance part of business as usual., Balfour Beatty VINCI is a long-established joint venture between two powerhouses for the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel, as members of the TransManche Link consortium. In the Midlands, it is Balfour Beatty VINCI's role to design and build the route, ready for tracks and signalling to be installed. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
  • Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:
  • 9.3km of viaducts
  • 62 overbridges
  • 35 cuttings
  • 56 culverts
  • 62 embankments
  • 2 twin bore tunnels and 2 cut and cover tunnels
  • 28 underbridges and 11 underpasses

  • At least 5 years of experience in the management of QMS on major projects in the construction industry, UK experience a plus
  • Experience of Technical Assurance (compliance requirements), Handover Packages and Certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
  • ISO 9001 Audit Experience
  • Trainer Experience
  • Power BI and Microsoft platform experience and expertism.
