We are excited to announce the launch of our new Operational Apprenticeship Programme, designed to develop the next generation of water industry professionals. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our Networks Operational Team for 30 months. As an apprentice, you will earn a Level 3 qualification as a Water Industry Treatment Process Technician while gaining invaluable hands-on experience and comprehensive classroom learning. Our apprenticeships provide a unique opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the water industry., Level 3 Water Industry Treatment Process Technician: The new Level 3 Water Industry Treatment Process Technician programme has been developed to support the maintenance of site process standards for water or wastewater. The skills you'll learn:

  • Conduct routine inspections, monitor water quality, and perform validation checks
  • Inspect and maintain assets, including first-line maintenance of process control equipment
  • Operate and maintain water treatment and distribution systems
  • Use and interpret data monitoring and electronic control systems (e.g., HMI, SCADA)
  • Support the team during operational incidents and emergencies, following escalation and emergency procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments, comply with health and safety regulations, and follow site security procedures
  • Participate in training programmes, complete coursework, and drive between sites as required
  • Identify and resolve issues using fault-finding techniques

    Have achieved or be working towards a GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or equivalent (beneficial)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A keen interest in engineering and the water industry
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
