Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic pharmacist with clinical and operational to join our Pharmacy team at the Royal London hospital. You will work closely with the pharmacy team and the wider multidisciplinary team on medicines management, medicines safety and governance priorities across the RLH and MEH sites. Also, the post holder will be expected to support the senior leadership team with the running of the pharmacy operations across the site.
You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda working with staff across the Pharmacy department and student placements., The post holder is responsible for the delivery of the key medicines management, medicines safety and governance priorities across RLH & MEH Hospital sites. The post holder will support the Associate Director of Pharmacy (ADoP) and Site Lead Pharmacy Technician (SLPT) in leading a team of clinical and operational staff in the delivery of patient-centred care to patients across East London. The post holder will also work with the dedicated dispensary and ward-based teams to ensure robust governance processes are in place. The post holder will be expected to be the RLH Site Governance Representative, manage pharmacy operational team members and deputise for the Head of Pharmacy, RLH.
