Full Job Description

Mental Health Support Team in Schools has a great opportunity due to is expansion. The Wellbeing & Emotional Support Teams (WEST) requires an additional Operational Lead Band 7 due to the addition of schools and staff in our wave 11 expansion programme, to manage our team in Hereford. Our service provides evidenced based early interventions for CYP ages 5 - 18 experiencing mental health problems in Herefordshire & Worcestershire. You could be part of an efficient leadership team who are supportive, share knowledge, learn from our experiences, have attractive training packages and the potential of career progression, thus making the work place a good place to be. Service is Mon - Fri 9 - 5, multi professional working. This post is for one of the South Worcestershire Teams. Core to this role is the monitoring of quality and performance via line management supervision. We are set up for virtual working, but days in localities will be expected., Accurate & contemporaneous electronic records Co-ordinate staff resources Participate in training Positively enhance new integrated ways of working Lead in the provision of mentorship and preceptorship of staff or delegate as appropriate Regularly review Performance, Quality and Finance information Participate in/chair meetings Set, monitor, evaluate standards escalating concern & potential for development Provide evidence based effective practice & new practice developments, guidelines, legislation, disseminate & implement with others Be professionally accountable & responsible Provide spontaneous & planned advice, teaching, instruction & education to school staff Contribute to clinical governance & quality agenda & lead as appropriate Keep informed of & develop strategies for implementing best practice in the service area, and to ensure effective Communication of clinical developments within the service Confidentiality is maintained all times
