Full Job Description

We are inviting applications for Operational Risk Manager for an international Bank based in city London. This is a permament position reporting directly to bnak CFO. Operational Risk responsibilities:

  • Own and review Operational Risk Management Policies (including outsourcing and third party risk management, business continuity) periodically ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and group level policies
  • Provide second line review and challenge over risk and control self-assessment, Process notes, business continuity plans etc.
  • Prepare and present regular reporting's to management, board, regulators, group as required
  • Operational risk capital computation for ICAAP
  • Be abreast with regulatory changes, participate in industry seminars/webinars/trainings
  • Oversight and control over operational risk activities at Germany Branch
  • Liaise and work closely with parent bank
  • Information Security (IS) Risk responsibilities:
  • Review the Information Security Risk Management Framework periodically in compliance and coordination with group plan
  • Ensure oversight and adherence to Information Security Group Annual Plan
  • Own service level agreement with group with respect to information security
  • Prepare and present regular reporting's to management, board, regulators, group as required

    High integrity, credibility and communication skills to operate confidently and effectively at senior levels both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills Business acumen to appreciate and optimise risk return profile of diverse business products and processes. Ability to challenge and convince, independently and constructively, senior management, peers or other relevant staff, to conduct business within the desired risk return profile. Good understanding of Basel norms on capital requirement for banks and financial institutions Good comprehension and appreciation of existing and anticipated risk management systems in United Kingdome Ability to make a real contribution in a rapidly changing environment.
