Are you looking for an exciting new leadership role within Urgent Primary care?

Aneurin Bevan Health Board is looking for an Operational Manager, who will jointly lead the operational management within the Urgent Primary Care service. This role will involve evening, overnight, weekend and bank holiday working

The Urgent Primary Care team are seeking a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The service covers the 24/7 period, 365 days per year.

There is an expectation of unsocial, weekend and Bank Holiday working.

We would welcome you to the multidisciplinary team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, mental health practitioners, pharmacists and non-clinical staff within a supportive and progressive team.

Aneurin Bevan Health board is facing changes in light of the Six Goals for Urgent and Emergency Care and there will be more integrated working across the Health board. This is an exciting time to be joining Urgent Primary Care. This role will provide key professional development support within the service, with our expanding multidisciplinary team., The post holder will take responsibility as the Operational Manager for the operational management of the Urgent Primary Care Service.

In doing so, they will manage multiple non-clinical teams within the Directorate. The post holder will apply their existing knowledge to assist the Senior Leadership Team and ensure the performance management of the team to deliver a responsive and efficient Urgent Care Service. The Operational Manager will be able to manage complex non-clinical decision-making situations and instigate escalation policies.
