Full Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Bolton Mental Health Support Operational Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Children's and Young Peoples (CYP) Mental Health sector. You will play an important part in a forward-thinking service delivering interventions into schools and colleges within the Bolton area.
You will work in partnership with other service leads/ Managers and other Operational Leads, and will further develop the partnership working that is currently taking place between education, the local authority and the Integrated care board (ICB).
This role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility while ensuring effective team management and support. The MHST manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing mental health services, ensuring the delivery of high quality support to education settings across Bolton., The post holder will be responsible for the operational and financial management of identified defined service areas, for this post the Mental Health Support Team. You will be visible and accessible to staff and service users acting as a role model and champion for recovery and change.
The post holder will ensure that care of the highest standard is delivered and maintained within their identified areas. This will be achieved through the setting and monitoring of key performance standards and ensure the development of the workforce.
The post holder will work closely with other team members from a variety of clinical and service backgrounds to provide a psychological perspective to cases as well as ensuring the effective delivery of the Mental Health in Schools project.
The post holder will ensure all interventions and care is delivered and maintained with the needs of patients/service users being central to service provision and development.
