Full Job Description

We're looking for a talented health or social care professional to lead our innovative and progressive Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams (CRHTTs) in Herts. It is an exciting time to join us following the crisis remodeling where we now have 24/7 responsive adult crisis and acute care service. The role will provide a genuine opportunity for you to develop your management skills and make a difference., You'll have substantial management experience within the NHS, and significant experience of working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service improvement. We'd like to see a real passion for community and crisis mental health services, and the difference you can make to service users and carers. It's a challenging role, in a challenging environment, but we believe it will provide a talented and ambitious manager with real scope to develop and influence practice.

You'll need to be a car driver (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving).

  • Professional qualification in relevant area of health or social care

  • Postgraduate qualification or formal management training, Significant management experience in relevant area of health or social care

  • Demonstrable success at managing change and development.

  • Experience of multi-disciplinary and multiagency working.

  • Demonstrable success in quality improvement.

  • Demonstrable success in performance management.

  • Ability to direct and advise front line managers and staff

  • Experience of work involving Clinical Governance, Excellent communication skills

  • knowledge of policies - mental health & social care

  • Dealing with complaints / understanding complaint procedure

  • Ability to produce clear, written, statistical and financial reports, Own transportation to travel to various locations

  • Able to travel and work from different bases, Experience working in Crisis Servies, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
