Full Job Description
We are delighted to have the opportunity to recruit to an Operational Manager for the Integrated Out of Hours (IOOH) Team. This role offers the chance to provide strategic leadership in our progressive Out of Hours community nursing service across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. The service is moving through a period of transformation, expansion and development and working towards improving the service provision for our local population. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated leader and someone who is committed to drive the continuing transformation and development of the service. The successful candidate will operationally manage a multi-disciplinary service, in accordance with Trust values, providing a safe, effective, efficient and high-quality service for our service users. They will be accountable for the service budget, ensuring professional co-ordination of the workforce, whilst interfacing with our multi stakeholder panels to ensure the service compliments the locality patient needs. Working closely with professional leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators is also part of their role. The successful candidate will predominantly be working core hours, however there is an expectation they will be flexible, and may need to cover out of core hours, if the service required it., Operationally manage a multi-disciplinary service, in accordance with Trust values, in the delivery of effective, efficient and high quality services for service users. To deliver MDT services at County level and professionally co-ordinate the interface with Primary Care and social services or delivery a specific service across the population of Staffordshire. Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Head of Operations, Clinical Lead and Professional Leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services, in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust policies. Work in partnership with other professionals to provide multi-agency services that achieve the best possible outcomes for service users The post holder will support and oversee operational delivery of the service requirements; they will be required to work autonomously in order to address issues impacting on service delivery with overall support and strategic direction from the General Manager. The post holder will also provide the leadership and management cover to the General Manager and ensure that key stakeholder relationships are managed with external partners across the Health and Care system.
