Full Job Description

The Resourcing Hub provides a range of services to help managers attract, source and hire the best talent. We are a highly motivated team that works closely with stakeholders and delivery partners, collaboratively managing recruitment campaigns within the UK and overseas. Being passionate about looking after our customers is a critical part of this job. As the Operational Resourcing Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team, building capability, and ensuring that HR's resourcing services are delivered to a high standard. You'll also ensure policies and processes are understood and accessible to all UK users, as well as providing expert advice and guidance. Line Management Responsibility

  • Directly, this role will Line Manager 2 people but will also have wider responsibility for a further 8-10.
  • Develop and coach the team to provide a centre of excellence and build capability, in turn building hiring manager capability across the department and ensuring guidance is regularly updated.
  • Manage poor performance and support personal development plans., Ensure smooth delivery of all resourcing operations, through team managers, to ensure the right processes are in place to deliver the best possible customer service.
  • Strategically manage and mitigate risks before they happen, acting as a point of escalation for complaints.
  • Production and analysis of recruitment data to forecast workload and forward-plan.
  • Ensure robust and accurate reporting across all resourcing routes to a variety of stakeholders, including internal Senior Leaders and the Civil Service Commission.
  • Responsibility for compliance with the Civil Service Commission's Recruitment Principles, Civil Service Nationality Rules and Right to Work legislation.
  • Lead on delivering continuous improvement work, implementing a project delivery approach to this.
  • Work collaboratively with the Strategic Resourcing Partners and with internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, DBT Security, Government Recruitment Service (GRS) and other Government Departments to achieve goals and objectives.
