Salary Range: £40,041 - £41,767 per annum, plus 10% Training Allowance
Work Location: HIWFRS HQ, Eastleigh
Hours per week: 42
Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operational Service Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our firefighters.
Key Responsibilities:
-Effective Time Management: Optimize your time to ensure efficient delivery of L&D courses and support activities, aligning with the L&D Business Plan and delivery models.
-Resource Optimization: Utilize equipment and resources efficiently to maximize training effectiveness.
-Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external departments to support income generation through training initiatives, such as Service Exercises, Prevention teams, LRF, 3SFire, and other agency training.
-Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities and work across different departments as needed to support the overall goals of the organization.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
-Relevant training and assessment qualifications.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Strong organisational and time management skills.
-Passion for training and development.
