Full Job Description

The PI Operational Support Expert will need to ensure the smooth execution of all activities related to Warranty obligations from hand-over in the manufacturing site, commissioning, and other pre-warranty activities until the end of warranty phase & hand over to Operations & Maintenance teams; as well as contribute to tenders and preparatory work during project bid phase as well as support activities necessary to mobilise and execute the physical work and achieve the contractual targets (parts, tools, procedures, repair loop, field modifications etc.).,
- Ensure compliance with standard processes (ISO, EHS)
- Operation Units Coordination
- Support project Organization set-up based on lessons learned & best practices identified
- Ramp-up support
- Expert coordination
- Train Management during Validation
- Support development of Standard tools & processes
- Support implementation of standards on projects
- Building Block assessments & support
- Project Readiness governance reviews
- Best Practice Sharing
- Supports train operations during the validation and pre-warranty phase, including train safety, through the sharing of standard best practices. Supporting local project teams to ensure:
- Lists of Warranty Spares / Consignment stock and Special Tools are all completed timely
- Ensuring commercial agreements are in place for Warranty Spares / Consignment stock and Special Tools
- Robust processes are established to ensure material for preventive (if applicable) and corrective maintenance is in place during the warranty phase with stock control processes implemented.
- Robust processes are in place to control potential claims and negotiations with external suppliers Performance measurements:
- Achievement of project readiness at each phase of Building Block Assessment
- Customer satisfaction survey results (both internal & External)
- Zero LTA
Project Management experience - In depth knowledge and understanding of Rail Product Introduction processes & procedures
- Experienced in carrying out audits & assessments
- Experience working within a Product Introduction and/or Warranty environment or experience working within Commercial & Contract Management.
- Able & willing to commit to extensive International travel ( 50%)
