An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Support Manager to join our team in Community and Health Social Care Services in Barking and Dagenham.

This role will support physical health community services provided within Barking and Dagenham as directed by the Head of Service.

The role will provide line management to a team of administrative staff., To provide support to the Head of Service in service priorities maintaining an awareness of the diary and brought forward system. Arranging appointments as requested.

To provide where required representation on appropriate committees/working groups on behalf of service.

To act as point of reference for internal and external queries, i.e. staff queries, patient complaints ensuring calls are dealt with to a high professional standard and communicated appropriately in a timely manner.

This successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as working within a team.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata).
