Operational Technical Specialist

There is an excellent opportunity for an Operational Technical Specialist to join our team in Peterborough. The role will be working with life and pension products, so experience in that sector would be preferred. Your role will be to provide an occupational/private pensions and life consultancy, to all areas of Phoenix account, ensuring compliance with legislation and eliminating any areas of exposure to the company. You'll be:

• Supporting senior managers, technical colleagues, and QA area to ensure training, referrals, auditing and HMRC rules are completed in line with HMRC and legislative requirements and systems functionality/processes.
• Interpreting policy documents, rules and regulations to identify benefits to be provided and appropriate beneficiaries in the event of a non-standard claim.
• Liaising with operational management to ensure correct procedures are followed and identifying and resolving any existing or proposed business initiatives to minimise risk to Diligenta and Phoenix
• Providing technical support to the change area, including meeting attendance, document review, testing, Review Business Requirements documents, written by change Business Analysts, providing feedback and eventual technical sign off
  
  Good knowledge and understanding of FCA and PRA guidelines.
• Knowledge and understanding of Pensions and life legislation and HMRC provisions.
• Experience in approving or drafting policy documents and customer documentation.
• Ability to work on own initiative to agreed timescales and manage own workload.
