Full Job Description
The Position: The role encompasses a wide brief from administration duties to warehouse work involving picking and checking of goods. Therefore, you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:
- Management of the day-to-day general administration for the site.
- Cash handling and maintenance of the cash record system for the depot.
- Manning the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
- Up-selling to customers who use the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
- Ensuring that invoices and all other paperwork are dealt with correctly.
- Booking on and off of stock following company procedures.
- Ensuring paperwork is up to date with regard to credits, goods requiring disposal etc.
- Taking booking in calls from suppliers, ensuring timing constraints are considered
- Picking, checking and loading of goods for next day deliveries.
- General warehouse activities as and when required.
Organised individual who pays attention to detail - Good IT knowledge, especially in MS Excel and be able to pick up new systems easily
- Previous experience of cash handling would be an advantage.
- A personable individual, with excellent communication skills across multiple levels of the business
