Full Job Description

The Position: The role encompasses a wide brief from administration duties to warehouse work involving picking and checking of goods. Therefore, you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of the day-to-day general administration for the site.
  • Cash handling and maintenance of the cash record system for the depot.
  • Manning the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
  • Up-selling to customers who use the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
  • Ensuring that invoices and all other paperwork are dealt with correctly.
  • Booking on and off of stock following company procedures.
  • Ensuring paperwork is up to date with regard to credits, goods requiring disposal etc.
  • Taking booking in calls from suppliers, ensuring timing constraints are considered
  • Picking, checking and loading of goods for next day deliveries.
  • General warehouse activities as and when required.

    Organised individual who pays attention to detail
  • Good IT knowledge, especially in MS Excel and be able to pick up new systems easily
  • Previous experience of cash handling would be an advantage.
  • A personable individual, with excellent communication skills across multiple levels of the business
