Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join in the role of Operations Administrator. This role is at the core of our Banbury operations and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is dedicated to supporting operational excellence. This is not just any administrative position; it is an opportunity to have a significant impact and directly contribute to the success of our company. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Banbury Site, including planning, logistics, transport, HR, and Sales functions and ensuring the smooth running of the Banbury office. Additionally, you will serve as a key link between the factory and Head Office departments. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm About the role: - Provide support to the transportation team during absences. - Warmly welcome and assist site visitors. - Answer and screen telephone calls, directing them appropriately. -
Communicate with Head Office regarding HR issues, Customer Services/Sales queries, visitors, and Group initiatives. - Raise POs and maintain accurate business records, including PODs, training records, and transport invoices. - Take meeting notes when required. - Support Quality, Compliance, Health & Safety efforts with reporting. - Organise conference and meeting room bookings, including catering requirements. - Receive, coordinate, and distribute post. - Update SOPs, documentation, and checklists as needed. - Support with the management of pallet accounts, including ordering and processing movements for efficient logistics. - Handle various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the production office. - Provide support for holiday/absence cover within the office.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - GCSE Maths and English grade C or above - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills - Effective teamwork capabilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Structured and organized work planning -Proven track record in an administrative role, preferably within manufacturing
