Full Job Description

As the UK Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational activities related to Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions, as well as managing a team of AML Specialists. The team specifically focuses on Customer Onboarding and management of Customer Ongoing Due Diligence ensuring that the UK is in line with DLL's Global Financial Economic Crime compliance policies as well as local legislation.

This is a certified role and requires hands on responsibility for the oversight of DLL's AML/CTF framework in the 1st line.

Day to day:

  • Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures whilst developing local processes to improve the quality and consistency of local work.

  • Managing and coaching a team of specialists, whilst monitoring team outputs.

  • Stakeholder Management at various levels, internally and externally.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities, with a focus on streamlining and the elimination of unnecessary steps in order to maximise efficiency and improve results.

  • Oversee in and advise on new business onboarding

  • Act in an advisory capacity for the MT with respect to financial crime matters.

  • Provision of reports to Local Management and Group Functions.

  • Monitoring completeness of internal systems/database with CDD, client and compliance related information and documentation

  • Develop and deliver training to the business for relevant financial crime subjects.

  • Identifying and reporting any system deficiency.

  • Oversee the periodic and event driven reviews of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) based on customer risk rating (High, Medium, Low).

    Financial services experience with a strong understanding of the full operational process.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Compliance legislation.

  • Excellent team leadership experience.

  • Analytical skills to derive meaningful conclusions from data.

  • AML / Compliance qualifications desired.

  • Empathic and good at building relationships.

  • A high level of business sense.

  • Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.

  • A strong communicator with proven stakeholder management experience.
