Full Job Description

To assist the Estates department in pro-actively supporting the strategic and operational delivery across the college s estate and Lancaster University School of Mathematics (LUSoM). This role will be instrumental in supporting the management of the Estate, including the coordination of college & LUSoM projects, property management, building maintenance, site utilities, service agreements and Health & Safety compliance. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead on the management of robust information and stakeholder communication on behalf of the Estates Department
  • Support the efficient management of capital projects, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • With the aid of external advisers, provide support to ensure Health and Safety compliance across college and LUSoM.
  • Lead on the Implementation of Department for Education (DfE) GEMS guidance to support and manage the college site effectively
  • Lead on and/or support estates projects
  • Provide support to ensure the estate is efficiently run with regards to energy management, financial spend, overseeing usage and reporting on trends
  • Prepare documentation and reports ensuring information is robust, accurate and well presented
  • Support the development of property and estates strategies
  • Provide support for the Lancaster University School of Mathematics

  • The Estates Department is seeking someone with experience of working in a busy environment, capable of managing competing demands and maintaining data. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude. You should display the values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and have a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults. Terms and Conditions Hours: 37 hours per week, full year. Starting and finishing times as agreed. Part time hours, with a minimum of four days per week, will also be considered.

    Salary: The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine at points 11 to 14 pro rata to £26,097 to £28,549 per annum., We also offer a range of excellent staff benefits, including:
