Operations Intermediate Analyst

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience. A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast's iconic Titanic Quarter. You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model. Role Overview: The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the posting, settlement and investigation of client related exceptions across all margin products and legal vehicles. What you'll do:

• Process transactions in line with Client requests
• Utilise data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
• Resolve payment / settlement issues and exceptions and escalate as needed
• Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, new products, services and platform upgrades
• Identify control gaps and work with seniors to formulate new policies to streamline the process
• Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members
  
  University degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Understanding of Margin products and practices
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Experience participating in strategic change
• Strong risk management and control mindset
• Self-reliant, dependable, good problem solver, results oriented
• Strong awareness of external and internal best practice perspectives
