Full Job Description

  • Ensuring the cost-effective management of the services on the Bromley contract, including collection activities and ancillary services.
  • Using the Echo system to report on performance, managing echo usage; ensuring adequate and efficient management of data obtained from the system.
  • Managing circa 150 employees.
  • Ensuring KPIs are met to ensure financial penalties are not applied.
  • Being responsible for the data in the contract management system and monitoring the performance of the services through Power BI.
  • Ensuring a safety-first culture is at the centre of activities and all HR processes are adhered to.
  • Ensuring the budget is met, reviewed and costs are monitored.
  • Ensuring compliance on the contract and working to reduce absence, accidents and injuries.
  • Maintaining effective management of any defects and ensuring that all damage to property and vehicles is reported promptly.
  • Maintaining and evolving a partnership approach with council officers and the wider Veolia regional team acting as a key contact and deputising for the Senior Contract Manager, as required., We know how important it is to be fully committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive place to work for every one of our colleagues.     Experience in people management, developing and training teams.
  • IOSH and good working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience within municipal waste services.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Road Haulage.
